Ahhh a light day. Yanks traveled to Ft Meyers today to play the Twins I got to stay back with most of our stars that didn’t make the trip. Toooo long for me, 5 1/2 hrs in the “Dog” short for (Greyhound Bus).

The guys that stay back get to have a short day, but have to get their work in. The Gym, Stretching, throwing batting practice, fielding, and running. Takes about 90min and they’re off to spend the day with friends and family. (continue reading…)

Yanks win 5-1 over Tampa Bay

Tampa today was another great day.  I also saw the “Big Boss” today. During todays game I went to Georges’ suite to pay my long time friend a visit. It was great to see him. He was with family and friends. His wife, one of his daughters and Hal. Hank had been in to see him earlier before I got there. As usual, for me it was great to see him. He looked good as he munched on some m&ms and asked me about the team and our new players.

To the fan that shouted from the bleachers asking about Game Six versus the Dodgers: the final score was 8 to 4.  Five of those runs came off my 3 home runs.

Today we won 6-1.
