Ahhh Yes Round 1
On a March for #27 and #5 for the Big 4. Jeter Pettite Posada and Rivera.
Keep ‘er rollin’
And a couple earned days off I’m a headn home to Cal for a couple days to relax before meeting the team back in NY. A few of the guys will head home for a few days but most of the players will go back to NY to get some time with family. Ahhhh what a nice win last night. Nothing new for Andy Pettite, he’s 15-9 in the post season in 35 starts in a great career. I would say a big time pitcher no doubt.

Off Day in The Twin Cities
Brrrr!
its cold here. I have no idea why they won’t have a roof on the new stadium they’re building here. This is a great town but it sure is COLD in capital letters,
its in the 20s here today.
Yanks worked out today lots of batting practice and getting used to the stadium again. This place is different than any other. It has its own characteristics. The Carpet makes this place unique as well as the plastic bag wall in right field, and the Twins build their team for this park. The are quick here and play almost .700 baseball at home. They have won 50+ games here. We will be tested by them and they have a team that we need to respect because they are so much better here than on the road.
We will need to keep the pressure on them and win to close out this series. We’ve got Andy Pettite going tomm and he’s been in this situation many times in the past. I’m comfortable with him on the hill tomm. Also
Alex plays very well here.

WOW how bout them Yanks !
Bottom of the 11th and Mark Texeira hits a “walk off” to make it Yanks 2-0. What can u say but wow. Alex hits a game tying homer and then we get out of a bases loaded no out jam. That’s what happens when you’re on a roll.
Joe Maur the best hitter in the league hits a double that’s is at least a foot fair is touched by Melky in fair territory and is call a foul ball.
Dude, maybe its the year of the Yankee. We were on the right side of it today that’s all I can say
Stay tuned
