And a couple earned days off I’m a headn home to Cal for a couple days to relax before meeting the team back in NY. A few of the guys will head home for a few days but most of the players will go back to NY to get some time with family. Ahhhh what a nice win last night. Nothing new for Andy Pettite, he’s 15-9 in the post season in 35 starts in a great career. I would say a big time pitcher no doubt.

Well then, 44, welcome back home to not-so-sunny California. Enjoy your rest. I’m looking forward to next weekend, the Yanks and the Angels. This is the best part of baseball season, in my opinion. October just isn’t long enough.

Boo Hiss to the fan at Citizens Bank Park holding the sign that read: The New Mr. October Ryan Howard. While I was rooting for the Phillies in the NL, and Ryan Howard has been outstanding in the postseason, we all know there is only one Mr. October. They’re just going to have to find some other nickname for Ryan Howard.

Hi, Tami. They are even calling A-Rod the new Mr. October. Based on his past postseason performances, he has not merited this monicker. There will only be Mr. October.
